NRS Chinook - Kayak Fishing PFD
The evolution of our best-selling life jacket, the NRS Chinook Fishing PFD, is driven by our designers' attentiveness to feedback from anglers around the world. With reconfigured pocket designs, the Chinook now makes catching the adventure safer and more effective on the water.
Classified as a Type III, medium profile life jacket, the Chinook delivers 16.5 pounds of flotation. Its zippered front entry allows for quick donning, and six adjustment points ensure a customized fit. Two large clamshell pockets, sized for tackle boxes, feature updated internal organization based on angler reviews.
The combination of PlushFit foam and a high-back design creates an extremely comfortable vest for any type of raft or kayak seat. Additionally, a mesh lower-back offers added ventilation on warm days.
For easily accessible storage, the Chinook features a single, exterior pocket on the angler's right side. A fifth, tool holder pocket, secured with a hook-and-loop fastener, provides quick access to pliers, line cutters, or other fishing gadgets.
Further enhancing the Chinook's functionality, it also includes a rod holder, a strobe attachment point, reflective accents, and a knife lash tab.
